Michael Kravitsky IV began his lawn care career at age five, joining his father on estimates and gradually taking on more responsibilities. By twelve, he was treating lawns and later managed them independently after getting his driver’s license. After high school in 1980, he became a full-time technician and married his high school sweetheart, Suzanne, in 1984. They have two children, Kristy and Michael V, both of whom work with Grasshopper Lawns. Michael IV has held various roles in the family business, from administrative tasks to management, and became the sole owner in 2018. In 2023, his son Michael V became President, with Michael IV transitioning to a consulting role. Celebrating 60 years in business, Michael IV has been part of this legacy for 44 years. His volunteer work includes serving as a Director for the Professional Lawn Care Association of America, President of the Lawn Care Association of Pennsylvania, and participating in Renewal & Remembrance at Arlington National Cemetery and other service events. His favorite hobbies are snowmobiling, flying, and traveling.
